Rhaphiolepis Apple Blossom, also known as Indian Hawthorn, is a neat rounded evergreen shrub with glossy dark green foliage. In spring masses of star shaped, pink flowers tinged with white appear. Ideal for hedging, screening, pots and coastal planting. Also ideal in mixed shrubberies and all around general garden planting. This adaptable plant can thrive in a wide range of mixed soils. Prefers full sun positions. Trim lightly after flowering to promote new growth. Apply mulch in spring to keep roots cool. Rhaphiolepis Apple Blossom can grow up to 1.5m high and 2m wide.
