– Sold OutAlocasia foliage is large and ribbed. The arrow-shaped leaves sit on large petioles and they can reach up to 2m long! It doesn't cope well with direct sunlight so keep it in partial shade. 'Black metallic taro' is native to Indonesia. The large, wavy-edged leaves have a lustrous sheen that gives the appearance of changing colour, from dark green to dark purple. The undersides of the leaves are silver-purple, and have darker veining.
